As Early Childhood Month came to a close, the children of Laura’s Day and Night Nursery, located in Goodwill, chose Friday as a special day to dress as cartoon characters.

The activity was dubbed, “Cartoon Character Day” since the children are at a young age, “and love cartoon characters,” Owner of the nursery, Laura George, told Dominica News Online (DNO).

According to her, the activity was a successful one and the children had fun.

“It was great, it was exciting and they all had fun today,” George said.

She said parents went the extra mile and did their best in preparing the children for the special activity.

“We played cartoon character games, nursery rhymes and songs because we are a Daycare…we left career day for pre-school and high school students,” she explained.

As part of the month of activities to mark Early Childhood Month, the Daycare held a number of indoor activities, visited pet land situated in Roseau, participated in a special church service and parents were further educated on the importance of nutrition by retired nurse, Denise Defoe.

Note how cute and innocent they are. This is why they should be well taken care of and be protected.
We are only children once and how that time flies. Adults can vouch for that. :) Let them be children to enjoy their little God-given life and in safety. This is their time to always be happy.
Teach them well and by godly examples. Teach them about God, what their little minds can absorb for now.
God loves you little ones and want you to enjoy your innocent days and to be happy to adolescent to adulthood.
God bless you! God bless everyone who takes care of the little ones, nurture them, teach them and discipline them. If they are well taught and do not sway from these teachings, they will do well in life. Parents and those who know them will be proud of them. May God guide and protect them throughout their life.
