The Commonwealth of Dominica and the Republic of Armenia and have established diplomatic relations.

Public Radio of Armenia is reporting in an article on its website that “a protocol on establishment of relations between the two countries was signed by the Permanent Representatives of Armenia and the Commonwealth of Dominica to the United Nations Mher Margaryan and Loreen Ruth Bannis-Roberts.”

The article further states, “During the meeting that followed, the signing ceremony held at the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the UN, the Permanent Representatives expressed confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations would promote partnership between the two countries, as well as enhance the cooperation within the UN and in the framework of other international organisations.”

Armenia is located in the southern Caucasus and is the smallest of the former Soviet republics. It is bounded by Georgia on the north, Azerbaijan on the east, Iran on the south, and Turkey on the west. Contemporary Armenia is a fraction of the size of ancient Armenia.

A land of rugged mountains and extinct volcanoes, its highest point is Mount Aragats, 13,435 ft (4,095 m). One of the world’s oldest civilizations, Armenia once included Mount Ararat, which biblical tradition identifies as the mountain that Noah’s ark rested on after the flood. It was the first country in the world to officially embrace Christianity as its religion (c. A.D. 300).

Why did our Foreign Minister, Hon. Francine Baton not make a public statement on this?

Just fishing for countries that doesnt really benefit us but make our passport more attractive on the market.
How about Visa free travel to Canada or Germany so some of us can find work?

Holders of a Dominica passport do have visa-free travel to Germany, which is an E.U. member and signatory to the Schengen Agreement. You can stay for a max of 6 months .

What Exactly does this statement mean? “would promote partnership between the two countries, as well as enhance the cooperation within the UN and in the framework of other international organisations.”
Ninety, (90%) of the article makes no mention of anything but about Armenia. I mean if there was a release out or these two were interviewed I see nothing of substance in the article that shows/indicates that we have something in common and that we will be receiving some developmental grants etc for our ailing Island. You mean Lorraine does not know the needs of Domininca anymore, let alone the severe destruction of Castle Bruce in all aspects, once a thriving venue for visiting the river, the beach and it festivals. Castle Bruce is now dead and all these Blind Labourites do, is promote and raise Skerrit to a disguised profile that does not belong to him. Skerrit is a failure and he has been incompetent, so we see that everyone is surrounding Skerrit and not our Dominica. Skerrit must…

Right now I am not surprised by nothing that deceiver does because he knows he is in trouble and his time is very short. So establishing relations with evil countries does not surprise me. Nuff of that nonsense lets talk some real talk now.
    Today I was listening to an interview Matt had with the PRO of the UWP and when the PRO named the 20 candidates to contest the next elections, I was so happy that I put on this song and began to dance because I saw victory and deliverance;
I can see, I Can see the down fall of Satan.
I can see, I can see, the down fall of Satan.

When I look to my right, I see Satan has fallen,
When I look to my left, I see Satan has fallen,
When I look to my front, I see Satan has fallen,
When I look to my back, I see Satan has fallen.

When I look at the North, I see Satan falling
When I look at the south, I see Satan falling
When I look at the east, I see Satan falling
When I look at the west, I see Satan falling

Well since while Hon. Pierre Charles was PM an Evil man established connection with Satan, without Pierro knew anything. Many insiders, including myself believe that and some more things contributed to the early departure of Pierro. As soon as Pierro was buried Ahab formally established full relations with Satan and from there on Demons took over, which followed by destruction upon destruction. So if Ahab can establish relations with Satan tell me if is Armenia he will not establish relations with. Kings 21:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord.

Birds of a feather congregate and “flocked together!”

No freedom of speech, or freedom of expression in Dominica, so it is not difficult to find ourselves associated with some barbaric dictator regime, and so we see big belly, that fat tub of lard Castle Bruce turn coat bear drinking woman proudly shaking hands with one who might be an assassin of Armenians!

Human rights in Armenia are of special interest now. In June 2017, a human rights defender, Artur Sakunts, received death threats. Sakunts is the director of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office (HCA-Vanazdor).

HCA-Vanazdor is a high-profile defender of human rights in Armenia. Sakunts received a highly specific death threat via Facebook, which illustrates that the issue of human rights is hotly debated in Armenia.

The Armenian government’s record with respect to human rights is somewhat uneven. In 2008, the government pledged to combat violence against women. However, no legislation was passed since.

Well, Francine Baron boast that Dominica has established the most diplomatic relations in the world; she done it again.

    A country poorer than Dominica!

    YEREVAN, 17 October. / ARKA /.
Some 42 percent of Armenia’s population is below the poverty line, according to an opinion poll conducted by Sociometer polling center of Aharon
    Adibekyan in 2013.

Speaking at a news conference Adibekyan said poor citizens are those who live on less than $2 a day, poverty criteria established by the United Nations.

‘Accordingly, those who live on less than $1 a day are considered extremely poor,” said Adibekyan, adding that some 10 percent of Armenians are rated as such.
However, only half of those living below the poverty line consider themselves poor.

Adibekyan described this as a ‘psychological defense reaction’ of the people.“Thirteen percent of Armenia’s population is rich.

However, only 2% of them consider themselves rich. Thus, the portion of citizens with modest living…

Our foreign affairs and alliances never cease to amaze me. Early in 2011, out then UN ambassador signed a similar agreement with Azerbaijan, which neighbours Armenia and its implacable enemy. We were promised substantial investments by Azerbaijan, which never materialised even though Roosevelt Skerrit, Vince Henderson an Hartley Henri went on an official State visit to that country later the same year. What has changed. Have we sold our UN vote twice to two opposing regimes?

Armenia!! really? A country known for human rights violations against women, using excessive force to break up peaceful protests, marred by vote-buying and intimidation of public servants and private employees, a country plagued with corruption including lack of accountability for law enforcement abuses. Does these sounds familiar? Why is Skerrit attracted to these types of countries?

Well, he selling our vote at the UN. Every vote there is equal, even for a little country like ours. Other countries are prepared to pay for you vote. For Skerrit business is business, principles don’t come into it. The coulor of the dollar is the same, no matter which country it’s coming from, as long as it’s greenbacks though.

Shut your front door 🚪! Get a paying job, % become a contributing member of society. Because you seat and wait for a bone to drop so you could jump on it, everybody doesn’t have the same mentality as you. What is wrong with people enjoying themselves Old frat? I didn’t want to see what your administration would look like! Besides taking the scholarships that was meant for the Marigot students and fireworks what else would you give the populace? “Because you seat and wait for a bone to drop so you could jump on it. ”

Me, I like percent (%) eh, cause that person is a bad a.. like me, (dat percent der like rip Roosevelt heart out like me eh!) So I have to defend the %.

Now there is something that goes like this: Pick the bean (Mort) out of thine own eye before you pick the beam out of someone eye!

        So, what’s this?

        “Because you seat.

        Me the word is “sit.”

Most Dominicans write as they speak, sometimes our accent  confuse words with others.

        Look at this:

        “Madamyeire.”

        What is that?

When I was a kid in my village I heard a lady called that all of her life to the day she died.

Her name was “May” slept the French way.

Someone intended to call her Madam May; hence, the patios accent created the name in the quote; the people of her day were illiterate; today everyone should be fluent in English!

        Try to substitute sit.

That diplomatic relations is nothing more than opportunity to sell Diplomatic passports and other passports to international crooks and criminals. I hope Skerrit builds a bridge between his Russian friends and the people and government of Armenia. Is North Korea next Skerrit?
