Several Dominican students were awarded First Class Honors when the University of the West Indies Cavehill Campus held its graduation ceremony recently.

Sabra Luke, Kimberly Lawrence, Antonio Anthony, Linthie Scotland and Nikisha Rabess graduated with First Class Honors at the undergraduate level.

Other Dominicans who also received undergraduate degrees are Nekesha Anthony, Sophia Jewel Anslem and Kerry St. Hilaire.

At masters level, Giselle Volney received a Master of Science degree with distinction in Natural Resource and Environmental Management. Also graduating with a Masters in that field is Dionne Carbon.

Another outstanding Dominican student at the UWI Cave Hill Campus is Jerelle Joseph who graduated with high commendation from the Master of Philosophy in Chemistry programme.

Dominica News Online has now confirmed that another Dominica, Giszelle Carbon, also graduated from the UWI Cave Hill Campus with First Class Honors. Carbon’s degree is in Accounting and Finance.

Congratulations to each one of you. It is noted how hard you studied in order to graduate. You did not allow T & T to go to your head, i.e., in the line of parties and other good times. :) You concentrated on your studies. You have very good reasons to be proud of your achievement. Wishing you all the best for the future.

WOoop Wooop!!!! Our people are doing it again. So proud of you all. While developing yourself, you improve the quality of life of Dominicans. I hope and pray that the praises goes to the almighty father first and that he will always remain the center of your lives. Secondly, I pray that you give back to the country in one way or another. Be Ambassadors for Dominica no matter where you go. Well done. Keep it up

DNO in such cases I think its rude that you leave any names out and not recognize everyone for their hard work. Giszelle Carbon also graduated with first class honors from UWI. But Congrats to all the graduates.

Admin: That was not deliberate. We just didn’t receive any information about Ms. Carbon. Can you help by sending us some more information, for example, in what field did she graduate or contact information for someone from whom we can get this information?
