The Seismic Research Centre of the University of  the West Indies has reported that an earthquake occurred off the south-eastern coast of Trinidad yesterday at 3:19 p.m.

The quake was located at 10.58°N and 60.66°W with a depth of 48 km. It measured 4.5 on the Richter scale. No damage or injuries has been reported.

The quake followed on the heels of a similar event off Trinidad’s north-western coast on Friday March 4th at 2:42 p.m. It measured 3.1 and was reportedly felt in the town of Santa Cruz. No damage or injuries were reported.

Presently Japan, and by extension the whole world, is still coming to grips with the deadly 9.0-magnitude earthquake and deadly tsunami that followed in that country last Friday. The number of confirmed dead and missing now  stands at nearly 13,000.

Oh please people, stop it with your ‘God is coming’. Like when there are periods when more hurricanes and storms form in the hurricane season, there are more earthquakes during certain periods. Why didn’t you all say these things when major earthquakes were rare. Besides, earthquakes happen all the time around the world. Majority of them are just minor. Remember, the Earth is not like a steel ball. It has plates that are costantly shifting and the pressure and friction is sometimes great. STOP YOUR SILLINESS PLEASE!

what happen now? everybody is afraid because earthquakes seem to be more common now?

maybe its time we should be asking ourselves some hard questions… it looks like earth is fed-up with us.

its not like we are doing earth any good, so i guess she is returning to us the energy that we always sent her… distruction and dispair.. a fair equation to me. dont you agree?

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

All creations is groaning and moaning waiting for the redemption of Christ, because the earth is filled with INIQUITIES AND SIN ! Men fail to repent and turn from their evil wicked ways to serve the living God ! They love the pleasures of sin, the works of the flesh and all that the devil has to offer to them in this sinful world. They love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. So guess what, JUDGEMENT DAY is come already for all nations and God is shaking up all the foundations of the earth. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah !

According to the Bible, no one knows but God Himself. Jesus is speaking in Mark 13:31, 32 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

It will be at an unexpected time, though, even for those who are looking for Him: Matthew 24:44 – Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

    :-D :) 8) :-P   :-o

Yes, of course, because every natural event that occurs, from a sneeze to an earthquake, is of course the doing of a god who agrees with your personal politics (he voted in the elections, of course). If it happens to someone you dislike, you knew it all along, since you know the mind of this god (since it’s your mind). And if it happens to Dominica, it’s a “sign,” not of a natural disaster in the wake of another natural disaster (which is scientific), but of a god telling you to impeach the people he told you not to vote for.

Man, that god sounds just like someone I know.

the almighty has ways of reminding us who is who,,,, do u all remember the trini p.m mrs kamla,,,,, hhhhmmm when she turned her back on st. lucian n st. vincent,,,, safe from hurricanes but not earth quakes i see,,,,, don’t forget the quake can seriously hamper the oil in trini,,,, take note mrs kamla,,, u know what karma is already,,,,

    • whatttttttt
      March 17, 2011

even though karma is a b*tch n then you die, that shouldnt be brought up, since most of the trinis didn’t agree and were offended by her statements

trust me,,, history have proven the masses will suffer,,, from the decisions of leaders,,, elected leaders are of the masses,,, they were trusted to speak on our behalf,,,,, trust my friend,,, a character many of us lack,,, look to the bible n see how much masses suffered not of their own doing but of their leaders,,,, she was voted by the people n her words ‘should’ be of the people,,, it’s when leaders think of themselves n not the people they were given the mandate to represent such things or statements are said,,,

That is so true, she said something like, they would not just give aid to countries just like that, Trinidadian interest has to be part of the equation. I think she was referring to Haiti earthquake to not just st. lucia, st. vincent, let me know if i’m wrong.

They think because they have a little oil they better than every body and they don’t need no body. The almighty God do remind us who he is just look at Japan, world’s third largest economy and all that money did nothing to stop the earthquake. God is No Respecter of Persons or countries. I will still pray for them and i wish them no harm.

PS. Don’t think we are friends now.
