Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau South Constituency (which included Giraudel) and Minister for Information, Telecommunications and Constituency Empowerment, Ambrose George, is happy with the progress of work on a pavilion for the Giraudel playing field.

George is describing the projects as one which is timely and necessary for the young people of the Giraudel community.

“It is expected that after this facility is completed that the people of Giraudel will be a in a better position to host sporting games as well as play amongst themselves,” he said. “Following that we will proceed to provide lighting for the playing field so that they can have both day and night games; to provide some fencing facilities for security purposes; and to ensure that the area is properly graded so that they can have a very convenient playing field for the young people of the Giraudel Community.”

The construction of the Giraudel playing field pavilion is costing in the region of $120,000.

The project is being facilitated with volunteer labour from the people of Giraudel.

I hope you will be able to sleep at nights. For twenty years the young people of Giraudel have been forgotten. I have never seen Ambrose work so hard for twenty years, maybe the writing in on the wall.

I am simply saying thanks to our God! I do not really care about the motive–this work is a good thing and we cannot do good things without God’s Love.

I believe that it is God in control and this work for the young people of my village is a plan of His; but through Mr. Ambrose George–thanks to him.

I really hate those 5 comments which are posted here; they do not speak, at all, for my people of Giraudel.

And one more thing! When we give thanks to people who have helped us, we are giving gratitude to God, for He is the motivator of the good things that people do–this work is of Love; for God is Love–without His Love in our work, this work is still futile. And so to God be the glory on behalf of my people of Giraudel.

Thanks to who? we should be thanking Joshua Francis
for the work now being done. I lived in Giraudel and for the past 13 years no work was done on the playing field., where was ambrse over these years/ he was the parl rep and did nothing. This is the same modus operandi of MR. george. you only see him on the eve of an election. remember the promise for the flower show etc.
