(DNO) A number of issues are expected to be discussed when the Dominica Public Service Union holds its 9th Biennial conference this Wednesday.

General Secretary of the DPSU Thomas Letang says the possible amendments to the constitution will allow members who are retired and no longer employed to enjoy all the rights and privileges of all other members.

“That will allow for structure within the DPSU comprising of pensioners and retires. We are hoping that after discussion we will take all suggestions, recommendations and concerns coming from the members into consideration.

He said this will allow for the development of a three year strategic plan for the DPSU.

The executive report for the last two years will also be presented while four former members will also be honored for their contribution over the years.
