Yet another Dominican graduates with distinction from UWI

DurandThe tally of Dominicans who recently excelled at the University of the West Indies has increased.
Dominica News Online (DNO) reported on Tuesday that five Dominicans graduated with First Class Honors while another two graduated with distinction at masters level.
DNO has since been informed that Fredericka Noelise Durand is another Dominican who graduated with distinction from the MBA programme at The Cave Hill Campus.
Also receiving MBA’s are Edith Thomas-Roberts, Sophia Albert-Charles, Eunie John and Vernelle Frederick.
This information further higlights the growing number of Dominicans, many of them women, who are graduating from universities at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Some years ago, I told my son men is about to become extinct. He has to work extremely hard to make sure they are recognized. Congratulation to the ladies. I know three of them. Vernelle, Eunie and Sophia. Well done. Women to encourage their sons as much as their daughters. Expect from them the same as their daughters and this will solve the problem.

Congratulations, well done but where are our men? Is it a reflection of the fact that it is mostly males sitting down idly by the roadside smoking their weed? Come on fellers, don’;t be shown up by the ladies like that. They are losing respect for all you.

Congratulations to all of you. You have studied hard and you deserve this honor. Best wishes to you for future endeavors.
Let us keep this in mind that this is done under the tenure of the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit. Be appreciated and grateful.
To my knowledge, Cave Hill Campus is in Barbados. I know this because a relative studied there and graduated as a Lawyer. I also know other Dominicans who studied and graduated from Cave Hill.
Correct me if I am wrong about Cave Hill. I assume there is only one and it is in Barbados.

Congratulations to the ladies. I am however very concerned that we are not seeing young men getting their degrees and graduating. Over the past few months we have seen so many women graduating and so far I have only seen maybe 3 men among so many women.
We need to find out what the problem is cause this is serious cause for concern. I know someone will take this wrong so again I say congratulations to the women and I sincerely hope that we see more women shooting for the stars.
