In an effort to combat the aftermath and assist in relief efforts after the catastrophic passing of Tropical Storm Erika, Pharmcarre Ltd of St. Kitts through Jolly’s Pharmacy has pledged $,5000 in $100 vouchers to students in the village of Delices.

In the South East of the Island, Delices was one of the villages that bore the brunt of damages with road and bridge destruction and also being cut off due to landslides.

As schools re-open across this storm battered nation, Delices Primary School is one of the twenty one schools affected by this disaster. In light of this, children of Delices will receive targeted assistance from Jolly’s Pharmacy in order to help them resume their education.

The two pharmacies has partnered with Jays Book Store to provide this much needed relief as students lost learning resources among other things. Persons with this Jolly’s voucher can proceed to Jolly’s Pharmacy at either location or Jay’s Book Store and receive items at no charge as it relates to the limit of the voucher.

“The cost of replacing school supplies is often too much for a family to cover when their livelihoods, homes and possessions have been damaged or displaced. These vouchers will contribute to facilitate the children’s return to school. We urge them to consider education as a priority even in the face of such challenges. We also encourage other businesses to come on board to aid in this venture,” explained Orrin Jolly, Manager at Jolly’s.

Jolly’s Pharmacy continues to mobilize its response team on the ground after the passing of Tropical Storm Erika and empathizes with Storm “Erika” victims and their families. It is critically significant to assist the children and in the words of a great leader Benjamin Franklyn, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”

Jolly’s Pharmacy, a Partner in Health care is located on 8 King George V ST. and 36 Great George ST, Roseau. We can be contacted at telephone number 448-3388 or email: [email protected].”
