DSC goes online

dominica state collegeThe Dominica State College (DSC) has said that for the first time it will accept applications from prospective students online.

This initiative comes into effect immediately as the DSC says it seeks more student-friendly systems and procedures for registering students into its 2013/2014 academic year.

“A quality College in 2013 can no longer operate only with 2002 technology.  DSC’s motto, Beyond Quality and Excellence, must drive our systems.  And so this new approach to applications demonstrates our resolve to keep abreast of the times in which our students live,” DSC Registrar, Denise Edwards, said.

Students interested in registering online can access the site at dsc.edu.dm.

For those who opt to register the old fashion way, printed application forms are available at at all three campuses of the College, namely Stock Farm, Bath Estate and Goodwill and may be downloaded online.

The deadline for all applications for the year beginning September, 2013, is Friday, May 31.

The DSC has also revealed that students will have the opportunity to take the following new programmes this year:

-Associate Degree in Paralegal studies,
-Associate Degree in Law Enforcement
-Associate Degree in Mass Communication,
-Certificate in Pre-Teacher Education, and
-Certificate in Journalism

You online good but where on the site is posted your range of course and the prices that goes along with it and the module outlines. How come you say I can apply online but all I’m getting is the option to download and print the form. You talk about 2002 by this is more like 1992

@sadindeed, It is indeed sad that you are having difficulty navigating through a website.

If you click on the homepage where you see Apply Now, it takes you to a page and this is the first line of the instructions:

Apply Online or Download, print and complete application form.

Click on the Apply online and you will get to the online application process.
