LIME holds annual Christmas Party in Bellevue Chopin

A little cutie getting a gift from Santa.

Every year LIME shares the spirit of goodwill and brings Christmas cheer to children of a selected community on the island. This year with Santa bearing gifts and lots of eats and drinks, the LIME team headed to the village of Bellevue Chopin for the company’s annual children’s Christmas Party.

Working in collaboration with the Bellevue Chopin Village Council, this year’s Christmas event was one filled with fun, laughter, excitement and enjoyment for the over one hundred children who attended. LIME ensured that there was sufficient food and drinks for all and that every child received a gift.

LIME General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste, who was among staff who attended Sunday’s Christmas Party, spent some of his time mingling and playing with the children.

“Christmas is a special time when children look forward to receiving gifts and enjoying themselves at these parties and LIME is committed to ensuring that we touch as many lives as possible through our annual children’s Christmas party,” Baptiste said.  “It is very heartwarming and fulfilling to see their faces light-up when they receive their gifts from Santa and excitedly open them to explore what’s under the wrapping”.

Chairman of the Bellevue Chopin Village Council Cecil Shillingford was very happy with Sunday’s activity and thanked LIME and staff for supporting what he described as a wonderful event for the children of his community.

While the company financed the overall activity, employees from LIME made funds available for most of the gifts presented to the children at the Christmas Party.

This was a very memorable event, one that must not go by without complimenting all those involved, the special committee set up for the event, the village council and most notably the main sponsors, LIME Dominica and the other sponsors.

The know that the children had a very very fun time, they were very excited about the whole event.

    THANKS AGAIN LIME,
