More support for Dominica State College

The National Bank of Dominica (NBD) will donate a tent to the Dominica State College (DSC) Tourism Club to demonstrate its recognition of the positive difference the club is making in the experience of students studying for the associate of science degree in tourism studies.

The tent will be used immediately by the DSC Tourism Club (DTC) as a snackette to sell to students a wide variety of drinks and eats. The DTC which was formed in September 2007, is raising funds continuously for multiple projects.

NBD will officially hand over the tent to the Tourism club at a special short ceremony on Thursday, December 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stock Farm Campus.

I wish to congratulate NBD on such a kind gesture to the DSC Tourism Club. This shows that NBD is really taking its corporate responsibility very seriously. I hope that NBD will get involve in even bigger and better things at the DSC.

if the tent has the n.b.d logo then its simply a marketing ploy,,,,,nothing can’t be free??,,,,not even a cheap-skate tent!!!,,,,so in essence this was not a donation but an excuse to advertise on d.s.c compound,,,, um i mean well that’s what i think
