Project Book Bag donates supplies to Sineku Primary School students

A student accepts school supplies from Project Book Bag

On the 23rd of December 2009 students from the Sineku Primary School were the happy recipients of school supplies from Project Book Bag.

For three consecutive years this small organization has dedicated itself towards securing school items for primary school students on the island, something they believe will play a major role in the education of these students. In the past, students from the Bagatelle, Belles, Concord, Boetica and Weirs Marigot Government School have all received supplies from Project Book Bag.

The Sineku Primary School has been the sixth school on the island to benefit from the generosity of the organization.

Project Book Bag was founded in 2006 by Kurt Prince, a Dominican based in New Jersey, in collaboration with Power Sound Entertainment. The project is geared towards making a difference in the lives of children.

With the help of sponsors, Project Book Bag looks forward to continue making such a meaningful contribution towards the education of the children on the island.

For more information and to make contributions to the project please visit our page: www.myspace.com/projectbookbag or email at [email protected].

Yo. nuff respect to King Tappa and powersound. The children are the future and unless we as musicians and artists dont respect that then it will be hard. Though it may seem little, a small donation goes a long was in helping these children achieve their goals.

    Respect
