* To help students to learn to spell quickly, accurately and with comprehension
* To promote students knowledge of proper word usage; encourage students to strive for excellence in spelling skills and other educational pursuits

Nine schools are through to the Semi Finals – St. Mary’s Primary, Convent Preparatory, Roseau Primary, Soufriere Primary, St. Luke’s Primary, Massacre Primary, Roosevelt Douglas Primary, St. John’s Primary and Paix Bouche Primary Schools.
The top five (5) schools will go through the Finals which will be held on Wednesday 29th June. The Dominica Social Security is the main sponsor of the Finals.
We believe that children who participate in programs and activities are more likely to succeed as adults. We at the West Dominica Children’s Federation do hope to give our children this advantage in life.
