Youth Leaders appointed to NYCD Executive Board

The National Youth Council of Dominica (NYCD) is proud to announce appointment of two (2) dynamic youth leaders to serve on the NYCD Executive Board, filling two (2) vacant positions on the National Executive.

Mr. Kereem Ferrol from the community of Portsmouth (North Youth District) has been appointed as the NYCD General Secretary, replacing Ms. Nadege Roach who is presently abroad pursuing her career goals.

Mr. Javid Pascal from the community of Boetica (South-East Youth District) has been appointed as a Committee Member on the NYCD Executive Board, replacing Ms. Michelle Belle who is presently pursuing tertiary level qualifications in the People’s Republic of China.

Both young men have demonstrated their commitment to the principles and objectives of the NYCD by volunteering over the past years and contributing to the work of the Council at the Community and District levels. Both will serve in their respective capacities effective December 1st 2016, until August 20th 2017.
