Twenty-one talented Dominicans have been chosen for the semi-final of the 2012 Q Talent Search (QTS) competition.
Twenty-eight contestants strutted their stuff in the QTS quater final round at the Arawak House of Culture on Saturday night.
When the competition dust had settled and the results were announced, seven of the participants had to shelve their dreams at least for this year, of being the next QTS winner.
Among those who have moved on to the semi-final are Bram Sanderson, Leona Peters, Johnson Magloire, Fatima Noel, Andesse Thomas, Jamaal Lloyd and Shanice Lansfond. Other QTS semi-finalists are Jerd Dorsette, Kersel Evans, Tronnel Pacquette, Kishon Florent, Germiamah Junkere, Linda Martin and Rachel Jno Baptiste.
Casey Benjamin, Kristey Felix, Nicole Beaudry, Carlene Simeon, Rogerson Jeremy, Akim Ismael and Rosette Joseph were also successful.
The semi-final of the 2012 QTS competition will be held on September 29 at the Arawak House of Culture.
Photos of the semi-finalists can be seen on the DNO QTS page.

Twenty-one, twenty-eight – did we not learn they are hyphenated words?
Be consistent semi-final – why not hyphenate all
The names – proper nouns initial caps
Bram sanderson
Rosette joseph
gErmiamah Junkere – is this what we call toggled?
