At the invitation of Dominica Government, a delegation of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater (CNODDT), the largest state-level theater with the longest history in China, is to visit Dominica from September 30 to October 4, 2016.

This visit is to promote the people-to-people exchanges especially in the area of culture between China and Dominica, and to strengthen the friendship between peoples of two countries.

The delegation is headed by Dr. Tao Cheng, President of CNODDT, and joined by outstanding young artists. Dominica people will have the chance to enjoy the spectacular oriental culture and masterful arts from China including dance drama, traditional Chinese musical instrument performance and so on. The Chinese Embassy and Ministry of Culture of Dominica invite all Dominicans to this cultural event. The delegation will also pay a visit to the Dominica State College for cultural exchange with students in the morning of October 3rd.

Some years ago I recall hearing that the world will integrate in twenty years. It has and even sooner.
Integration is good for a country on condition everyone gets along and no one discriminates against others.
I am too far away overseas to see them perform. I can imagine how wonderful it will be to see them perform. Maybe sometime. I cannot recall if they performed where I reside. We will have to pay to see them. Dominicans are fortunate that they will be able to see them perform free of charge.
We must admit that the Chinese government is helping Dominica and other OECS countries on a magnitude that the US, Canada or Europe never helped. We must be grateful.

Soon you’ll hardly see black people on the streets of Roseau. Scare-it is no joke, eh!!! All you tink him a joke! China has no drinking water, their air pollution is the worst in the world; Cannot take care of emself but pretending to have what it takes solve world problems – LIKE GIVING OUT HAND FOGGERS. Yes, there is talk about that. Consider Canada, Europe and US. How many white people can you count in those countries especially Canada and the US? Look at Great Britain or England for that matter.
I would think the above countries are the same. You are a bold person and project blatant discrimination.
We have jokes in Canada about that. They are not complimentary. They have been circulating via email. I cannot share them with you on DNO.
It really is good for those countries on condition that we get along, in peace.
Dominican students of all must be diligent in their studies so that when they graduate they take their rightful place in society.
People can migrate to other countries but they must not try to change it to suit them. This is occurring in Canada with the aggressive Muslims. We are not pleased about their attitude. Some politicians are also responsible.

Send Dominica calypso singers to perform in China, then report back to me with the results.
Have you ever seen a Chinese eat at any other restaurants other than their own ?

“When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” — Leviticus 19:33-34

you r invited the whole of Dominica at Arawak? At least try the stadium, there can accommodate more people. Just a suggestion.

I thought it would have been held at the Stadium. The Arawak will not be able to hold all of them, even though a few thousands attend. The exception would be weather permitting if it took place at the Stadium. It may be safer at the Arawak. It looks like first come, first serve. They will have to be there early. I expect there will be police presence to control the crowd entering.
