Dominica’s Dancehall artiste ColtonT has officially released his new single and video ‘Emotions.’
The song sets a very warm and relaxed mood to start into the New Year and seeks to give the younger generation a message to focus on.
Emotions, formerly titled Wine Pon It, was produced in collaboration with Dominican producer Triggah of So Sick Ent.
During a recent trip to Jamaica ColtonT teamed up with Kingston video director JJ of Terminal 4 Media to shoot a smooth, romantic video at the stunning Moon Hill Villa in the Kingston Hills.
Terminal 4 Media has been directing videos for Elephant Man and Mr. Vegas, among others.
“The video is a way of giving back to my much dedicated fans, who have been here with me from day one and who have boosted the support, while I made strides during a tough 2012,” ColtonT stated.
ColtonT has already announced a follow up video of his song IceCream Man to be released after Dominica’s Carnival season.

Happy for him. Would like some more lyrics in his songs. Choruses are always good but lacking in the middle, in the heart of the song itself. Keep going and do your thing.

Colton it looks like you have more enemies than fans
Colton has the persistence and perseverence to succeed. We wish him well. However, the song is a bit disappointing. It is too repetitive and the words are not always clear. Work on your lyrics, Colty. Big up to you.

They may have had a good concept, but poor execution in the video. I kept trying to understand what he was say after the tic toc part but I’m still lost.

boy colton doing big things no doubt, i like his drive and persistence. he will reach far, likewise i’d like to bring to light how another more popular local artist has lost his ‘shine’. that local artist was b4 colton and it seems colty just take the shine from him. 2 goodwill artists and they yet to collaborate smh. i think the other artist need good management like colty cause he’s better talented 4 sure. but ever since his buddy was murdered on high street, he lose his mojo. hope to see colty take over the scene. i find it taking the jamaican public time to show colty love, by now colton should be a staple name in jamaica, with them high quality vids he dropping etc
