Convent High School wins Miss Teen Pageant 2018

Jorjanna Albert of the Convent High School is Miss Teen Dominica for 2018.

The 15-year old Albert picked up awards for Best Speech, Best Talent and Best in Question and Answer on her way to the crown at the Old Mill Cultural Centre on Saturday evening.

The show had been pushed back because of the passage of Hurricane Maria.

In second place was Daina Graneau of the Castle Bruce Secondary School. She took awards for Best In Spectacular Creation and Best in Evening Wear.

Elyssa James of the Social Centre Adolescent Skills Training Programme placed 3rd securing the Best Spectacular Creation and Miss Amity awards.

Nzinga Colaire of the Portsmouth Secondary School took the Miss Photogenic  Award.

The other participant was Syan Davis of the Goodwill Secondary School.

    Congrats to you for putting on a wonderful performance and to your chaperons for being your backbone to the throne. You deserved it. Your school must be proud. Well judged.
