Dominica News Online (DNO) has introduced a page on its website which is dedicated to the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF).
The WCMF page on DNO provides readers with a comprehensive amalgamation of several features related to the festival including profiles of the artistes in the line-up, a photo gallery of the performers, videos and regularly updated WCMF news.
The page also includes the schedule of performances for all three nights, as well as live links to the WCMF website and social network pages.
In addition to the WCMF page, DNO’s sponsorship package includes advertising banners on almost every page on the site, a video on the Home Page as well as voiced promos of the festival attached to the ad banners.

Throughout the past couple years i have seen the WCMF becoming more up to date with informing the public about the festival with the use of their Social Media techniques. This is great. I still think they should do their best to get persons to buy their tickets online. It would be great to offer discounts but i do not think they should lose out by making public announcements of the days they are going to be giving discounts. Persons should visit the site regularly to catch when the discounts are on. EG. It could run for an hour for a limited amount of tickets! There is alot of technological advances being made internationally especially in event management. Is this festival meant for internationals as well? ok then…
