Ebenezer Praise Ministry to launch “Glorious One”

Members of Ebenezer Praise Ministry

“Glorious One” is about to be launched.

And the Ebenezer Praise Ministry of the Trinity Baptist Church (TBC) is describing what will be its first Gospel Album as one aimed at uplifting the spirit, enriching the soul and elevating “the Glorious One”.

TBC says the launch is scheduled for Thursday, (12th April) at the Garraway Hotel in Roseau.

The Album is said to contain “amazing soul uplifting scripturally sound and Christ exalting songs” composed and sung by the members of Ebenezer Praise.

Ebenezer Praise is described as a group of young people, formed in 2004 with the mission of communicating the heart of God to others, honouring God, reach the lost and touch lives through praise and worship.

The album which is entitled “Glorious One” derives its name from the ultimate purpose of all activity for God, which is to glorify Him in everything, according to a TBC release.

The album comprises ten (10) original songs that the group describes as inspirational and enriching compositions, ranging from worship to reggae, rock and zouk-cadance.

I have always wondered what part of the zouk-cadence that inspires holiness and solemnity during worship. Some of our devout christians might not complain but they are offended by the sweating and gyrating of the waist with sexual overtones during worship. Our women come in big sizes- try “sitting behind one of those in skirts or pants + a thong somewhere in there, and tell me if you can “concentrate on the Lord!” Music is God’s gift to us to gift back to Him. If christians want to get into producing music, please use your production to export kingdom culture. Christians are truly not of this world!

you and your dirty mind…dats what’s on it, dats y dats wha u thinkin..don’t go pass it on other ppl.

Please stay focus on God. Zouk-cadence, reggae sounds worldly. the Word of God says we are in this world and not off this world, if you are truly worshiping. Until I hear this, it already sounds like noise to me. The psalms talk of ten strings instrument etc. cadance is noise. Stay focus on God.

ppl don’t only worship God with one genre of music..what would you tell the nigerians and haitians when they r worshiping God in their soucous and zouk music? that it’s worldly?..stupes u’re jus disappointing!

stupzzzz Shut up! If it was an american that was singing you would have bought the CD already… dominicans never like to see their people doing good and applaud them always negative… stupzzz you just made me so angry… that is if you know what is the definition of worship..

      • June 2, 2012

Worship is not only expressed in music but it is a demonstration of love, the fruits of the Holy Spirit and a life-style.
You seem to be too quick to rebut on the negative comments and I would like to suggest that you submit your anger to God. Please stay focused on the Word of God and may your life be yeilded more to consecration of your will, desires and cares.
        God bless you all.

Stop talking nonsense “Civilized.” Since Christianity does not promote negativity, I am guessing you are NOT a Christian because you are negative to the max!

music is of God. The devil stole it. Go figure

    • April 10, 2012

And which kind of music does God Prefer? The music from America or the worship music from Israel. We are Gentiles and we use our music to worship and praise Jehovah. Glory to his name.

where in the bible does god condem zouk .rock and zouk-cadance??? sweetheart this is a genre of music ! you people do not think for your self but just jumps on the bandwagon on what you hear other people preach ! Think for your self !!! Use your brain ….In simple terms its a type of music created …..fast beat slow beats ..its the words that important !!!Dance to it how u please …or clap ! this music sounds linda worldly to you because that what we human being associate it to ! And lets me honest ,thats what most dominicans wanna hear so they have to be wise and what better way to hear the word of god in music we enjoy! you people need to educate yourselves before cominig out like silly parrots andtalking absolutely rubbish!
this music sounds kinda worldly says you because of how they dance to it in jams in dominica…..all those love slow music people funicate to ….is that worldy music too???

You sound like some one who only know the basic stuff from the bible so nothing will impress you ! hope you wearing skirt right down to your ankle and wait till u get married to have s**!

congrats ebenezer, listen is not just christian in church ok.. show it, when someone say hi to you and u don’t know the person do not look at the person like who the hell r u? a simple hi won’t hurt. u expect people to know u and u may not know them u r a group that peolple hear of. so i had an experience with 2 people in ur group i hope everyone not the same. so watch out ebenezer have the love of christ for everyone not some. i will not call their names to save the embarassment..but see their smiles, i waiting for them next time.

Eh beh you not easy “love one another.” So you think coming on here and writing that is love..you are behaving in like manner. That being said Ebenezer please listen to the counsel of this person because too many times as christians we turn off the same people we ought to be witnesses to with our behaviour. It’s a point for us all as children of God to consider. Loveis action, not words.

I wonder if you yourself don’t do the same thing… Bsides ppl aren’t the same. Just bcuz someone else is accustom to jus responding bcuz someone said hi, doesn’t mean someone else will.. and that has nothin to do with whether you have love or not. There are alot of crazy ppl out there. some ppl are just careful of other persons and some ppl are unconcerned. I take it you are of the latter..

and jus so you kno, i do respond if someone says hi, but i also ask..”do i kno you’..in this day and age you can never tell who is what..and that doesn’t mean i don’t have the love of christ in me, it just means am being careful and smart..smh
