The Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights (ECCO) Inc. says it will make a royalty disbursement to members and affiliates of more than $400,000 for the Financial Year 2011.
According to a press release from the organization, this represents 100% increase over the amount paid in 2010.
ECCO’s Chairman, McCarthy Marie is expected to make the announcement in his report at the Annual General Meeting of the organization which is scheduled to be held on Saturday 23rd June in St. Lucia.
The release states that Marie will also inform members of a 27% growth in licensing revenue which made it possible for ECCO to increase its royalty disbursements.
At the ECCO AGM, elections will also be held for the board of directors of the organization which comprises St Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada & St Vincent & the Grenadines
ECCO members who live outside of St. Lucia will be able to participate in the Annual Meeting via video conference.
