International dance artists to stage local show

Kaz Kweyol Productions in association with Fort Young Hotel presents WINGS, a Dance performance where beauty and elegance converge, with International Dance Artists Sade Bully and Momo Sanno.

Sade Bully, daughter of Alwin and Anita Bully, has been a professional dancer with the world-renowned, New York-based Garth Fagan Dance for the past six years.  She has received critical acclaim for her performances in several newspapers including the New York Times and the LA Times.  She is currently touring internationally as an independent artist and has just returned from performances and workshops in Europe.  She just recently collaborated with her father as choreographer and Co-Director on the recent run of the Broadway Musical Once on This Island in Dominica.

Momo Sanno is an independent International professional dancer and choreographer with more than 15 years of collaborations with dance companies and artists from the United States, Brazil, South Africa, Haiti, Germany, Jamaica, Romania, Italy and the Netherlands.  His dance works are a crossover of performing genres, integrating multiple dance styles and techniques.  Born in Romania, he travels and performs worldwide.

WINGS will be presented in response to the many requests received from persons who saw the couple’s exquisite love duet in Once on This Island and wanted to see more. The one-night event will comprise a series of dances (duets and solos) that express the dancers’ dreams and aspirations and their ability to expose life’s beauty, twists and turns.  The performance will take place on the beautiful and breezy Terrace of the Fort Young Hotel on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 7:30 pm.  Wine will be served.  There will also be a cash bar on the Terrace and food will be available at Bala’s Bar.  All in all, it is expected to be an evening of beauty and elegance, not to be missed by art lovers.

Tickets will be available at Bulls Eye Pharmacy.  Presale $50 At the Gate $60

How I love the words: “The Power to Live Passionately”.

This is what art is all about and why it is so desperately needed here in Dominica.
