DNO will provide a live stream of the media launch of Q Talent Search (QTS) 2012 from ten o’clock this morning as well as the closed audition from 4:30 this afternoon.

QTS provides the opportunity annually, for hundreds of young people to call to sing via telephone, out of which about 90 of the best singers are selected to participate in closed auditions before a panel of judges.

Their scores are augmented by texts and calls from listeners to the show. 32 of the best singers are chosen to participate in three on-stage competitions, at the end of which, one is crowned QTS Champion, and is rewarded with a recording contract for a CD with 10 songs and a promotional music video among other things.

The phone-in aspect of the competition has ended. The official lauch will be held this morning (25th JUNE 2012) and this afternoon singers from all over Dominica will compete in closed auditions, to win the TOP 32 SPOTS of Q TALENT SEARCH 2012.

DNO will stream live both the media launch from 10:00 o’clock this morning and the closed auditions from 4:30 this afternoon.

E fee of US$500 will be charged for the closed audition.
