Five ladies are to vie for the Madam Wob Dwiyet title at a pageant to be held at the Arawak House of Culture on Thursday evening October 30, 2014.
They are Cylma Cuffy of Pottersville, Claudette Mc Intyre of Trafalgar, Gwenneth Lazare of Grand Fond, Jacqueline Alexander of Grand Bay and Seraphine Joseph of Kings Hill.
The Madam Wob Dwiyet Show is a very popular and highly entertaining event especially the talent round. The reigning Madam Wob Dwiyet Veronique Nicholas will make her final walk and sash the winner at Thursday’s pageant.
There will be appearances by Miss Wob Dwiyet Dominica Merlyjah Benjamin and Miss Zadshire Dupuis, Miss Wob Dwiyet, USA respectively.
The show will also feature performances by Ophelia, Michele Henderson, Petite Savanne Cultural Group,Waitukubuli Dance Theatre Company, Sonia Lloyd and Paix Bouche Drummers. The show is presented by the Division of Culture and the National Cultural Council and commences at 8.00p.m.
