Theatre lovers who are unable to attend the latest play from “Teyat Pawol International” in person, will have the opportunity to watch it via a live stream on DNO this evening (Sunday April 29).

DNO is teaming up with ComeSeeTv.com to bring the event live into your living rooms for just US$3.99

The play’s director, Alex Bruno, has described Obeah Man as a play that will change people’s “concept of obeah” once they’ve seen it.

He makes it clear that the play does not glorify obeah.

“The play makes fun of obeah as a practice. We believe in obeah. There is a lot of trickery and we are exposing them. We are speaking about the ills of evil and we are having a good time speaking about a serious topic,” he said.

Obeah Man is part of activities to celebrate DOMFESTA 2012, in Dominica. It was first staged on Friday night at the Arawak House of Culture.

Tonight’s presentation of Obeah Man begins at 8.00 o’clock.
