Showdown Mas Camp organizers are promising a special treat tonight with performances by St. Lucian artistes King Invader, also known as Papa Vader.

Invader is the most crowned St. Lucian artiste, with 7 road march crown, 3 soca crowns and 4 calypso titles.

Ambi, a young soca artiste, who’s making waves with his song ‘Ramen’ is appearing in Dominica for the first time.

One of Mas Camp’s organizers says some new talent will also form part of tonight’s line up including 2 to 4 Junior Monarch competitors and a newcomer from Anse De mai with a song called Copy China.

He says the paticipation of the foreign artistes was made possible through the sponsorship of St. James Guest House and Marpin 2k4.

Showtime is 8.30 pm at the DPSU grounds.
