The man only photograped what he saw. Are the negative comments based on his photograhic abilities, or are they based on the material. He is a photographer, that what he is. He did not dress or undress any of those people. He photograped exactly what he saw.GOOD THING.Photos do not lie.Insulting him personaly is way out of line.Perhaps a more positive attitude to take is as Dominicans we could help to make our contribution to the Carnival even more positive. We are all Dominicans. He worked with what he had, I think that he has done a splendin job.

To all the previous negative a..e..le.. The photo’s were taken by another reveller whose kind thoughts he believed was to share with the people of D/a the vibes from over seas.
Next time we will keep our photo’s to ourselves and enjoy them.
In response to the fool that says sensay was rubbish remember clever Dick we are not in DA where you can get the real materials required to make the sensay, stop talking out of you ar..s.
I have never come againgst such ungrateful people such as Dominicans.
to the person who said that is slavery mentaliy to enjoy carnival. Pleas reflect and go back to read on why carnival is being celebrated to this day could it be that we are celebrating emancipation.
We are all eager to enjoy pictures of fetes that occur in DA but it appears that DA people are not interested if they do it is with such negative vibes.Even though we live away from DA we are still Dominicans.
We hyave photo’s of the other revellers your system could not accept all the pics at once.
Please patrons be more wider minded stray away from the shallow thoughts.
I shall leave on a happier note good day to the nice people in DA no problem.

ADMIN: Don’t be discouraged by the negative people. The general feedback has been good. Keep sending the pics and we will publish them.

I am in total agreement with Cyrique. I live in Ladbroke Grove where all the floats comes through. Since I left home in my teens I used to be a participant in carnival with my Portsmouth friends when I was younger, folloed by my children as this is something that I have grown up with and duly admired.

As an older citizen I have become an observer, and yes I was very proud, proud and happy to see Mas Domnik with a large following this year.

Mr.John Vincent and everyone else who made it what it is today, I am saying Koudous to you all.
We as a nation should appreciate what we got.(Everyone is entitled to their opionion)

I can understand if one is not of the participating kind, However, I praise and thanks others for putting us as Dominicans on the world stage.

    Keep it up Mas Domnik!

What a load of hypocrisy. I am from England and have been to carnival in Dominca many many times. I see people in Dominica dressing in the same rags you are talking about, flying the same flags you are talking about. Because the pictures are from England you seem to have a problem or maybe you are jealous who know or even cares, but all I have to say to you is get a life for yourself and stop worrying about what others do if it does not affect you. I too followed that band in England and yes, it was the best band in Notting HIll. All Dominicans were proud to fly that flag and you should happy your country is represented….but no you would prefer to complain and moan. I will going to Dominica carnival next year and I am looking forward to it. There is a saying in England..if you cant say anything nice then say nothing.

        September 12, 2013

The lady posing in front of the bus is Carol Buntin, Ken Buntins wife. You are very rude and ignorant. Yes, as most of us are, she is a little overweight. But she is a beautiful Dominican woman.
