Oh, within the silence of the mind
And beyond the silence of the heart
Where true love and nature speaks
Allowing the calmness that one seeks
Silence, many of it are afraid
Not of what it is but what it says
Searching within reveals at most
What the Lord wants of us to be first
We search for peace in this troubled world
But often we’re surrounded by loud words
Silence speaks waiting to be heard
By each and everyone on the roll
The peace we seek should come from within
But will only be sought when silence is in
Take time to relax and be not afraid
And allow silence to speak again.

WOW. Quite impressive. I’ve always said that we humans are afraid of silence because it forces us to look deep within and reveals so much of ourselves to us. We live in a noisy world and I think it’s healhty to find a quiet place to relax every now and then.
