These are the kinds of events that shouldn’t just stay in Dominica; it is a kind of event that should put Dominica on the map. I am talking about bringing it out for the World to see, as far as it could go.
From the original cast we wish we could be there with you all. We are proud to see the Steve James “Papa Gey” and Ian Anthony “Agwe” representing the original cast. From Danielle and myself here in NY we will be there in your hearts. We will always love the original cast and all directors.
To the original cast members who have sadly passed (Gabriel Dalyrmple and Amorette James) we will always hear your voices singing.
I wish you all the best to this 2nd cast. I sure hope that all the nights will be sold out as they were when we performed.

Yes I remember. Steve, Ian, Gabriel, little Georges girl, great performance then. Alwyn Bully and Steve Hyacinth were Director and Co-Director that year and did a very good job. Great acting too. All the best new cast
This makes me proud to be an adopted Dominican.
An amazing array of superb Dominican talent!
Can’t wait for opening night.
I wish I could see this. I know it is going to be a SMASH HIT by the cast based on their track record. I know there are copyright and production rights issues but Please, if lots of pictures could be provided or recording that would be great (if arrangements were made with Music Theatre International (MTI) of New York).
SUCCESS TO THE DIRECTOR, CHOREOGRAPHERS, MUSICAL DIRECTOR & THE CAST.
I had the opportunity of seeing “Once on This Island” in April 2017 presented by Operation Triple Threat Performing Arts Academy here in Barbados. Many of their alumni have moved on to training institutions in the USA, like Interlochen Arts Academy, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA).
My Son is presently into his second year at AADA.
Alwin BULLY & His Cast has TREMEDOUS TALENT so I look forward to when some of our actors can be students at these renown institutions.
DIG UP, Sylvester. I agree with you that our budding actors should be professionally trained.
A fuss I jalou? I would fly to DA just to see this show! I know it will be a theatrical tour de force and all the performers will deliver the kind of performances that will rival anything you see on Broadway!
I have always thought it would be nice for Michele to take her talents to the great white way and to see her do this in Dominica would be a special treat. I hope you guys at home go to see this show, I hope you guys all support. The arts in Dominica is a vital and untapped industry and it is so great to see something like this being put on there.
I’m here screaming I can’t miss this .i know you guys are going to crush the stage. Congrats my people
