Regin Auguiste of Crayfish River is the Atkinson Primary School Miss Noel 2012.
She copped the best in evening wear to put her ahead of the other five contestants in the pageant held at the school on Saturday December 15, 2012.
Regin was crowned by 2011 Miss Noel Jercyl Merrifield to much applause from the large audience.
First runner up was Daniella Laurent, of Atkinson.
Kristi Allfrey of Bataca won the best in casual wear to earn her place as second runner up.
Marian Tyson of Bataca did a stunning dramatization on Mary, the Mother of Jesus, placing that story in a modern context to win the best talent and earn the third runner up position.
The appreciative crowd also saw performances from a number of guest artistes including calypsonian Soul Puss, Bann Akayo, Gregory Rabess, Blinx and Kalinago Angels.
Congratulations were also showered on Melanie Timothy, a seamstress from Bataca who made all the dresses worn by the contestants.
Timothy has made dresses for this pageant over many years.
