Seven to compete in Miss Wob Dwiyet pageant

Reigning Miss Wob Merlyjah Benjamin of Grand Bay

Seven young ladies will compete in the National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant 2016 which will take place at the Old Mill Cultural Centre on Thursday, October 27 from 8:00 pm.

They are:
Representing the north is Kayanna Joseph of Paix Bouche
Representing the north-east is Terisa Baptiste of Wesley
The east is represented by Dahlia Bruno of bataca
Representing the south-east is Decilia Phillip of Grand Fond
Representing the south is Vernanda Mitchel of Petite Savanne
The west is represented by Primrose David of Massacre
and representing the south-west is Shanice Langford of King’s Hill

The reigning Miss Wob Dwiyet is Merlyjah Benjamin of Grand Bay who won the title in 2014. The pageant was not held in 2015 due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.

    Don’t Dominicans get tired of so many pageants?This cheapens the activity when there are so many.Isn’t there anything else going on in the country.Come on what has happened to creativity
