In the face of the extensive damage caused by of Tropical Storm Erika, a number of artistic groups and individuals are coming forward and using their talents to aid the restoration process of Dominica

The Sixth Form Sisserou Singers is one such group.  They will present their 2015 Production, Choral Images, as a Benefit Concert In aid of Petite Savanne.  All profits from the show will be donated to that community for relief projects.  The guests of honour and guest artistes at this event will be the Petite Savanne Cultural Group, a group which has made outstanding contribution to the preservation of Dominica’s traditional arts.  According to Director of the Sisserou Singers Pearle Christian, “The Petite Savanne Cultural Group, even in the face of this extreme adversity, has exhibited an admirable resolve to ‘get up and walk again’. The members have pledged to represent the undaunted spirit of the entire Petite Savanne Community as they take the stage during Choral Images.  It is their hope that Dominica will come out and support them”

The show will be held at the Arawak House of Culture on Sunday 27th September exactly one month since the passing of Tropical Storm Erika. The Starting time is 7pm and tickets at the price of $30 are on sale at Valantine’s Shoe Store on Great George Street.  The Sixth Form Sisserou Singers is calling on the public to support this worthy cause.
