Trish Sanford has emerged as the winner in the first ever Salybia Government School Miss Noel pageant held on the weekend.
She also captured prizes in the best talent and best speech categories.
Six students from grades four and five competed in the event in talent, casual wear, party dress and speech categories.
Nia Belle emerged first runner up and won best party dress.
Zyrina Charles won best casual wear and placed as second runner up.
The other contestants were Chriscia Bruney and Kirra Durand.
Organizers of the event said they would like to thank all those who made the show possible especially Miss Renata, Mrs Ricky Francis, Shirley Darroux, Mr and Mrs Rocque Sanford, Department of Carib Affairs, USVI Senator Patrick Hill and Amy Francis.
“It was well attended and was of very high standard,” Principal of the school, Kathleen Jno Lewis, said.
