The Dominica Festival’s Committee (DFC) in collaboration with headline sponsors for the Real Mas, Lime, will host the 2012 Queen Show Pre Show on December 26th at 8 p.m. at the Arawak House of Culture.
The contestants will appear in four rounds: Casual Wear, Swimwear, Evening Wear and Interview.
The show will also feature performances from QTS winners including the 2010 QTS star Asher Thomas and popular calypsonians.
The contestants are: Kimberly Jno Charles of St. Joseph, Fancille Lavinier of Pichelin, Ameka Cognet of Elmshall, Indiana Griffith of Goodwill, Nadira Lando of Bataca and Shanel Dubique of Petite Soufriere.
One contestant, Fancille Lavinier is fully sponsored by Bulls Eye Pharmacy.
Entrance fee is $20.

these young ladies would do themselves a huge favor by trying to enter university and get a degree; and leave pageantry for physically gifted people.
All the girls are beautiful and have great potential. The available press release pictures DO NOT do them justice. Don’t wish to say: another year; same old story. So I’m remaining optimistic. It takes guts to participate in such an event, especially when faced with the various limitations and challenges of finding sponsorship and bringing the final picture together. I encourage the girls to continue to do their very best and put their best foot forward at all times. The girls look a hot mess! What about dressing these women in an outfit that one colour No patterns! Something classy and tasteful maybe even a little representative of our culture just a bit. The young lady in white looks okay. But all the others are a mess. Too short, too many colours, little girl dress and pink panther just a mess! The hairstyles are not even good either….smh

Well maybe a little because I think white dresses even though extravagant can look so simple. The girl next to her dress like pink panther or pep to bismol -grown women don’t dress all in pink, the one next to her looking she got my granny curtains, The one in the animal print makes no sense because its so not local, doh even ask for the one in that little girl dress not very mature and then the blue alight passable but way to short.
