A five-day FIFA MA Referee course held in Dominica has been described as “successful” by one of the facilitators Antiguan, Denmore Roberts.

Twenty-three participants received certificate of attendance and completion for taking part in the course.

“I am extremely happy at what I have seen over the five days … all we need is just one Dominican to excel and make it on the FIFA panel,” Roberts stated.

He called on the participants to put what they have learnt into practice and to work with the local MA instructor.

“I leave today happy and pleased that you are in safe hands…but you must work with Carlisle (Jno Bapstise) who is your MA instructor, Leslie and the rest,” he said.

Nine participants also successfully completed a fitness test which was administered by FIFA Fitness Instructor Kelesha Antoine with assistance from Christina Sobers and Steve Samuel.

President of the Dominica Football Association ( DFA ) Glen Etienne urged the participants to work hard and strive for success.
