First Caribbean International Bank’s 2010 “Unsung Heroes” Programme is expected to launched today.
The Unsung Heroes Programme has become the flagship for volunteerism in the Caribbean and every year entries are received from the countries in which the FCIB operates.
Media Coordinator of the institution locally Alvin Night says the programme is a way of rewarding an individual, who has done a lot of work in the community without notice.
Past Unsung Heroes are expected to attend the ceremony at the Alliance Francaise, including the two most recent winners, who are also Caribbean runners-up of the Unsung Heroes Programme.
The event will begin at 4:30 p.m.
