The appointment of a new National Authorising Officer for the European Development Fund is expected soon.
Principal advisor to Prime Minister Edward Lambert, who has been holding the position, says three candidates are being considered, all of whom are Dominicans.
“The next move is to confirm the availability of the candidates, and then enter into an arrangement that the candidate can transit from whatever he or she is doing currently into the position of NAO,” Lambert disclosed.
There are stringent requirements for the position of NAO, according to Lambert.
TEACHERS ASKING FOR 5 %, AND GOVT CRYING NO MONEY?

We need synergy in government. We need to streamline government positions. We need to get rid of all that bereaucracy.
