A twist of Easter at Jolly’s Pharmacy

This Easter, Jolly’s Pharmacy decided to take Easter up a notch. The annual Easter egg hunt was scaled and replaced with a philanthropic drive of immense significance.

During this Easter season, Jolly’s Pharmacy undertook a comprehensive assessment of the unmet health-care needs of a few senior citizens across three parishes as recommended. Three elderly citizens were identified and the mission of this project was to alleviate poor medication compliance due to unaffordability by contributing to specific health care costs.

The Pharmacy also provided various medical supplies which serve as a vital component to health care delivery.

Among the three seniors is Josephine Henry, a 104-year-old elderly woman who received a much-needed supply of Ensure nutritional drinks and health care products. Age 100 is a big milestone and it is rewarding that we could play a part in assisting our centenarians on Island.

Easter is the gift that keeps on giving and at Jolly’s we believe in the socialization of the elderly and supporting a better life for them to become important contributors to society. It is essential that our senior citizens are not taken for granted.

I agree with you a 100%, if you doing it from the bottom of your heart don’t bring a camera. Donate because you care not because you want your picture taken.
