An Afghan woman jailed for adultery after a relative raped her has been freed, her lawyer has told the BBC.
The woman, known only as Gulnaz, was released on the orders of President Hamid Karzai, who pardoned her earlier this month.
Her lawyer told the BBC that she was released without precondition, dispelling fears that she may have to marry her attacker.
The case drew international attention to the plight of many Afghan women.

Satan has a vendetta against women. He is angry because God said in Genesis 3:15 the seed (offspring) of the woman would bruise the head of Satan. In other words it would be a woman (the blessed Virgin Mary) who would bring into the world the Messiah Redeemer, our Lord Jesus Christ! He would defeat Satan and crush his purposes. In no other religion on earth is this satanic hatred and loathing of women more clearly seen than in Islam. We have heard of over 200 young women in Nigeria being kidnapped by a Muslim organization to be raped, and sold to be used as prostitutes. When an horrendous crime like this is committed it is done by Muslims not by any other so called religion. Satan is venting his rage against women for the roll womanhood played in the Divine plan of redemption! Islam lends itself well to the purposes of the evil one.

that story underlies the power relationship in Muslim societies and how they treat women. women barely have an existence outside that of men; they are not inscrutable in their own right. they are viewed with great suspicion and the originator of all that is evil even when the evil is perpetrated against them. we don’t want this in Dominica.

It’s simple, adultery is punishable in Islamic countries. One has to ascertain that she was truly raped. She was remanded until her case is called pure and simple.

In Islamic law a woman has a child out of wedlock she must be questioned. She was on remand until her case was called. It has to be proven that she was raped. On what basis are they gonna say she was raped? Simply because she said so? It doesn’t work like that. She did not report rape, why is it till after the child when she is held she is talking about rape? You people need to think in this country.
