Over 200 children of the Roseau Valley have benefited from an annual Christmas/New Year party organized by Attorney-at-law Ronald Charles last weekend.
The party, which was held on the Wotten Waven playing field, catered for children between the ages of 3 to 12 from Cochrane, Laudat, Morne Prosper, Wotten Waven and Trafalgar.
Charles told Dominica News Online (DNO) on Monday the party was very successful.
“It was very successful,” he said. “Basically, every year we bring the kids together, we put together some items of gifts for them, most times is toys, and we provide them with snacks and we do a lot of games with them.”
He noted that the annual party was held at Morne Prosper for the first time in 2014.
Charles thanked the entire Roseau Valley community and Mrs. Jacquelyn Winston and family for assistance in catering for the children.
He also thanked others who donated gifts to the children ensuring that every child went home with a gift.

Your action doesn’t surprise me Mr Charles, as such an outreach comes naturally to all the UWP candidates. It is for the reason why the likes of you, Joshua, Joseph, Thompson, Lennox and the entire UWP political representatives stand out above anyone else in the DLP.
