Why are some of us so inconsiderate… Anonymous 2 had your mother been working in Roseau but living in Penville, dont you think closing early would have benefitted her? Just because no one got killed you find there was no need to close work early ?
Weather personnel can only PREDICT a storm,s behaviour they cannot say exactly what the storm will do… my god better be safe than sorry…
I find the correct decision was made on Friday.
I left Roseau at 2pm by the time I reached my community, TStorm force winds and rain was already affecting us. Had the winds been stronger we would have been caught with our pants down….be careful what you ask for Mr SElfish…..

“A Tropical Storm warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area.”
Is this all there is to what a storm warning means? Please be precise in the definition. In risk communication there should be no doubt in what we are trying to say.

Thanks for the information. Please check what you wrote regarding what a warning means in weather terms. Our message ought to be consistent. Just an observation.

Annoying # us!. Not when the train has left the station. Some persons are all over the place, we cannot play wishe washie with life, property, and unpredictable mother nature. All is well that end well. And that’s the bottom
      line.
