    Well well, typical Dominicans to break down good people. Many of you will NEVER walk in that man shoes and what he has accomplished in his lifetime and the respect he has gained world wide. He certainly did not need Skerrit and any other Government to make his name. He was known for his outstanding achievements long before he went into politics, and for his major contributions to Dominica. Mr. Maynard you are right in saying “what anybody says about you is none of your business really but their own because they spend the lives talking negatively and loosely about others”. You will always shine in the eyes of God and the local and overseas people plus family that love and admire you and NOBODY can take that away.

    Big UP!!!

    Calling All Dominican!

    Please go to the ‘Red Clinic’ to get money from the Prime Minister to purchase this book!

    A Life in Public Service?????????? That was a political opportunistic approach! Self gratification! Egoistic!

    As a public/political figure, we hardly heard of Maynard’s contribution over the past 5 decades! There are other public/political figures we hear more about.

    Suddenly here comes an biography of Charles Maynard: A Life in Public Service???? Are there concrete evidence of these contributions?

    There are many unsung heroes who have made greater visible contribution to the social, political and economic development of Dominica.

    Congrats H E C Maynard, you are a true example of what we as a people should be, don’t need no damn colour to serve your Country, there are too many small minds among us thats y we are where we are, some of us are stuck in the mud and can’t get out and our mind swallowed by the stinking pit of party politics. I like Maynard was very close to the DFP, now that it has faded in political darkness should we and the Country do the same????? Whats wrong with some people. Maynard make your self useful in the service of you Country cause those are critic and do an inch of what you do. I suggest they start with a roadside brain operation.

    To those who want to speak negatively about Mr Maynard I do hope that you have some legacy to carry on to your grand children. Mr Maynard has worked well, did his country proud and it is just fitting that Justice Andre is giving him his flowers while he is here to receive it.

    Mr Maynard is a God Fearing, extremely educated gentleman and I can safely say I am proud to be associated with him.

    Well Done Justice Andre……

    Gods Blessings Always His Excellency Ambassador Charles Maynard….

    …. Isn’t it interesting that his ‘extraordinary’ life work is now on display just after he publicly, by his very hand diminished his own legacy?

    The “good old times”— all times when old are good– are gone.
    The present might be if they would
    Great things have been, and are, and greater still , want little of mere mortals but their will;
    A wider space, a greener field is given, to those who play their tricks before high heaven
    I know not if the angels weep, but men have wept enough — for what? to weep again……

    I do hope that there is a section of this book highlighting the fact that Charles Maynard is obviously a PIP (Party In Power) public figure. In my opinion the man …. Eugenia rescued Maynard after the collapse of the Patrick John administration and for 15 years he just tucked himself beneath the bosom of Eugenia. During the UWP reign he remained quiet and hoped that he would be called to serve. Eugenia never really had much to say about Maynard. Today he is the piper playing the songs selected ONLY by Skerrit and Foe.
