You have read and noted the nature of their mission. My instinct informs me the British still has its designs on the Caribbean; no exception Dominica. They are keeping close tabs in that region and on Dominica for future enemy infiltration. Should there be some who are planning it, they will know that D/ca will be protected. Their presence is enough to deter enemies.
Dominicans think they are alone but the British know very well why they send their warship, to take a count of what is occurring in this region. They will report back to their authorities.
Keep in mind the British has an Ambassador to Dominica who is stationed in Barbados. Remember her when she visited with the PM? The one who said, she wants to know what makes D/ca tick. It was just a figure of speech by one who is British. I thought it was funny. It made me laugh.

@John Doe: You would be surprised at how much the Brits and Americans know about us. Some of the specialized equipment these ships carry would make your eyeballs POP!

These people spend their time attempting to rescue the Caribbean from being a victim of drug trafficking. Some people can never be pleased – you are clearly one of them. You need an attitude transplant – that’s the only thing that can help. In the meantime, I will ask my local pastor to pray for you.
