We are in the twenty-first century, this guy presented a budget of eight hundred fifty-four million dollars; happy are the supporters of Roosevelt Skerrit. If we subtract the salaries of Roosevelt Skerrit ambassadors around the world, and their living expenses including housing, food, and enough to entertain guest as Savarin did in Belgium years ago, how much is left?

After we minus Skerrit’s salary, and that of the puppets in his circus; how much is left?

How much of that eight hundred fifty-four million is left to pay civil servants?

We must not forget our health system, the cost of medicine, and the maintenance of the rest of our infrastructure, such as roads and government structures (buildings).

Any wonder we saw the closer of the Marigot hospital, the dilapidated condition of the police station in Marigot, and Portsmouth. There is nothing new provided for in his budget, he increased the budget my some one hundred seventy plus millions of dollars, for what…

      Continue:

The worst of it all is this delusional fellow budget is not centered, on anything deriving from our nation economy, but rather the sale of passports!

      I question Skerrit’s sanity!

This man is not doing anything productive to improve the lives of our people!

When will we ever learn or hear of money allocated in the budget for the building of an International Airport? When will we hear him say ‘X’ amount is allocated for the installation of traffic lights around the island, Saverin dispute the fact that if Columbus were to return to Dominica today he would not recognize the island.

I suggest he would be convinced it is the same as he left it, because one of what he would expect to find on the island is an international Airport, and traffic street lights, and industries of various kinds.

Roosevelt Skerrit budget is meaningless, its a waste of time; that budget could only serve a purpose in the thirteenth century!

Dominica shall remain a rendition of some architectural drawing in the mind of Roosevelt Skerrit! He has lot’s of architectural drawings, even the one he circulated in the media, when he boasted Dominica shall be a model used by the rest of the region to develop their islands.

Those precious architectural paintings; Skerrit will sell, hopefully the revenue generated will be more than that from the sale of passports.

I suppose the new rendition we see in the picture the rest of the region will adapt that too, by decorating their streets and Boulevards with their national flags, or better yet with Dominica flags, every building and streets will be painted green.

This Dominica`s so called President: “According to him, while it can be said that the country has generally performed well post Erika, “I am compelled to make reference once again to the tone and quality of our civil and political discourse.”
Savarin, let us refer to the tone of silence you have endured over the past years in your comfort and denial of the truth of poverty, corruption, lack of transparency and accountability in Dominica created by your corrupted trusted friends in office who have failed us Dominicans. The same corrupt Labour government of inept Skerrit and political gangs of no goods.
Savarin, you are stuck in this big White elephant doing nothing constructive for ailing Dominica created by your subjugates engaged over the years in bobol and corruption activities.
This country has failed – you as a failed president and in support of a failed corrupt PM and Labour government.
Now Dominicans need your credible support, you out there talking garbage and……. Recall…

This man, so called Prime Minister is a big clown. An Irresponsible ODD Minister of a struggling poverty-stricken island, created by him and his political stooges. This is an ailing “Nice” country, riddled with dirty political bullets of corruption, nepotism, immature ministers and led by an Odd Minister. Sad state of affairs.

We listened attentively to the response of the Budget Speech by Hon Lennox Linton. Whoaa, what a lecture, what substance, what pride, what dignity, what well read from the heart. We therefore the foul nonsense that Skerrit read. I wonder if he really understood what he read.

Skerrit, Savarin and his bunch of Corrupt Labour government ministers must listen and learn to political budget speech of value, substance, decent and as one person says: “you could hear a pin drop in the house” They are lost, corrupt and cankerous
Well Done Hon. Linton and the UWP team. Dominica rise, take our country back.

Amazing! I wacthed the body language and one could be forgiven to think that even the Speaker appeared enthralled. A word of advice Mr. Skerrit. Please let your Ministers and Senatorsknow that a presentation that requires constant reference to a tablet held in one’s hand does not look professional and distracts from the message. These things do matter.
