Digicel is pressing on with its goal of making Christmas better for customers and members of the public.

Last Friday, Digicel lit up the faces of about 70 children of the Soufriere/Scott’s Head/Gallion community at its annual children’s Christmas party which was held this year at the grounds of the Soufriere Primary School. Digicel staff had a wonderful time with the kids, and engaged them in singing carols along with a game of musical chairs. The children were happy to dine with the employees of Digicel in delicious snacks and Christmas treats. The presentation of gifts was among the highlights of the Christmas party.

Under the theme: “Together We Make Christmas Better”, Digicel is indeed thankful for the support from parents and Village Council who assisted in sharing, carolling, gifting, and otherwise, during the activity in Soufriere.

Digicel also hosted its fourth weekly Christmas draw last Friday 19th December, 2014, once again bringing joy to the hearts of five (5) lucky customers. Elwin James of Tarish Pit won $1000, Valda Faustin of Kingshill won a DL800 android smartphone, Nathan King of Cochrane won a shopping voucher valued at $300 redeemable at Whitchurch IGA Supercentre, Egbert Walsh of Goodwill won $100 credit plus a shopping voucher of $70 and Marcia Tuitt of Grandbay won a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Each of the winners were indeed very elated on their winnings. The $1000 cash winner Elwin James of Tarish Pit said “I love Digicel and I am very happy to win this $1000 today. Thanks and Digicel forever.”

Customers can look forward to being part of the grand prize draw of up to $20, 000 in January.

“We at Digicel are pleased to bring joy to the children of our society, and give back to our customers especially during the Christmas season. We say Merry Christmas and extend best wishes to all Dominicans during this time”, said Sales and Marketing Manager of Digicel, Nathalie Walsh.
