Digicel has unveiled the latest addition to its range of entertainment products – d’Music – a mobile streaming app that gives customers access to a playlist of over 20 million songs across all genres – including the very best local and regional and international selections.

Available to Digicel customers on a prepaid data plan, d’Music gives customers up to 2GB worth of free data to stream and download their favourite songs without their main data allowance being affected.

We are delighted to be bringing the gift of music to our customers across the globe. This is a unique opportunity which allows us to partner with major global music labels like Sony and Universal to deliver the widest range of music to our customers – over 20 million songs across all genres – all through the app on their own smartphone. So d’Music is all about giving our customers the best digital experience and access to more of the things they love and enjoy.”

“The launch of d’Music for us is all about putting our customers’ feedback into action to give them more of the things they love and enjoy – even while on the go,” said Nathalie Walsh, Marketing Manager at Digicel.

Walsh continued; “With our Independence celebrations around the corner, this is an opportune time for our customers to connect with some of our great local music using this amazing streaming app on one of our special data plans.”

To activate d’Music, prepaid customers can select plans ranging from 7 days for as low as $18 for 750MB to 30 day plans for $55 for 2GB – giving them the opportunity to access millions of tracks and create their own playlists. In addition, when customers activate a d’Music data plan, they will receive an additional amount of data free – equal to their purchased plan –to stream, download and listen to even more music. To activate d’Music, customers can dial *140# or via the My Digicel app.

The d’Music App is available on Google Play Store or via digicelmusic.com and once downloaded, it can be accessed with a Digicel ID. Full details are available on www.digiceldominica.com.

The app downloaded quite fine for me. Seems really cool since I can’t do without my music. It still plays when I’m offline so that’s even better.

    Terrible app.

I downloaded the thing since i have prepaid account. I had to go through a whole process of registration, which I did. I got a bunch of text messages from Digicel…telling me what to do..blah blah blah.

After all that, the app won’t load or a blank screen keeps popping up.

I deleted and uninstalled that garbage from my phone.
