DNO Poll: Should Patrick John have been booted out of the DFA?

Last weekend the Dominica Football Association (DFA) voted in favor of a resolution from football clubs to ban DFA President, Patrick John, from football for the remainder of his term which ends in 2015.

The delegates voted 24 in favor of the ban, with seven opposing.

His critics had argued that John’s ban by FIFA for two years which was upheld by the FIFA Ethics Committee, brought the DFA and the office of the president into disrepute “shame, disgrace and ridicule.”

On November 17, 2011 the FIFA Ethics Committee found John guilty of violating FIFA’s Code of Ethics – he was slapped with a two year banned and also fined.
