Dominica – A Different Adventure (Dominica Film Challenge 2018 video)

On Wednesday, August 29, the winners of the Dominica Film Challenge were announced by the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA).

For the challenge, six teams of the best videographers/storytellers on the island went out to film unique and compelling scenes of what Dominica has to offer visitors.

Sheldon Casimir and Norris Francois (Jr) emerged winners with their short film entitled, “Dominica, A Different Adventure.”

The winning video is below.

Over the next few days, DNO will feature each of the videos that formed part of the competition.

      Why is this false advertising? Whether some of the things were done pre Maria is of no relevance. These are what we still have to offer and still offering post Maria. This is Our Dominica.

    The videography is superb and the sound. Two observations though –

    1. some of the footage seems to be pre Maria (can be seen as “fooling” people)
    2. the narrator could have been more convincing with her voice.

      There’s only one shot in this that’s Pre Maria and it’s in there for less than a second so I think it’s safe to say this is a Post-Maria video.
