Vinokurov stated that the twelve containers included mobile power stations, plywood, galvanize steel flooring and other materials needed for reconstruction.

He said another shipment containing food products is expected to arrive in Dominica next week.

“So we hope that very much our help will assist the Dominica Government efforts to build a climate resilient nation and we will continue working with you to achieve this goal,” he said.

In addition, Vinokurov reiterated Russia’s commitment towards strengthening relations with Dominica.

“We are now at the stage of finalizing a number of agreements which I hope will promote trade and economic ties between our countries exchanges in culture, tourism, sport and other areas,” he noted.

A pile of rubbish talk about “climate resilient nation.” there is no such thing, and will never be, it one thing to talk hogwash reality is simply reality.

You the Russian giving galvanized steal, any material you can give were used over the years on buildings, in Dominica. Hurricane Erika rip them all up; stop talking nonsense, as if Russia is a token gift to Dominica, and face reality; there is nothing you can give to Dominica that will change the Status quo!

Wheresoever Russia gets involve always leads to destruction of the country: Cuba is a good example, communism along with repression destroys wherever it rise its ugly head!

it would be good to distribute these incoming supplies evenly amongst the Parishes largest most affected towns. I don’t consider a lot of places in Da villages anymore, St Joseph, Laplaine and environ, GrandBay Soufriere etc.
