(DNO) The Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) has secured the jobs of five out of eight time keepers employed at the Public Works Corporation.
The other three have been laid off by the company but General Secretary of the DPSU Thomas Letang said they were promised new positions in a few weeks.
“Management also agreed that before the 16 employees were affected last month, these time keepers were laid off. The employees told us that they were not aware of their rights. We have requested that the employees should be paid,” he said.
Meantime Letang said it was agreed that any further matters of layoff should be discussed.
I applaud you mr Letang! you ar edoing a wonderful job…Keep working for public servants rights… Congrats
If it was pre election I would advised that they out on the red cap or red t shirt “together we must….”but that will only work if you actually did vote for us frenchmen to rule.
You see we know who you are. ;-)
Letang definitely does the job he’s paid to do….and does it well!!
